EU Energy Supplies: Integrating Climate Change Policies and Renewable Energy Standards with the Goal of a Secure Energy Future

Mrs. Nina Commeau-Yannoussis, Head of Unit "Security of Supply" - DG Energy, was a discussant on the panel on Outlook for Energy Supplies and Prices in the EU at the ICCF workshop.

This session will include discussions on how to diversify and increase energy supplies including accelerating the development of carbon sequestration technologies, promoting diversity of natural gas supplies by locating new liquefied natural gas facilities to import gas from the Gulf and elsewhere, and increasing the availability of nuclear power.
